Getting Old
I am getting older.
The wrinkles of time are writing their stories across my face.
A young person’s eyes are often filled with optimism, glistening with hope.
That used to be me. There was a naivity, an innocence, an unshakable belief in the goodness of just about everyone.
I was born that way and I am grateful for it.
