It’s my birthday in two days.
A milestone birthday.
I am beyond excited.
The kids will probably celebrate me and make a big deal about Dad hitting the big one, but here’s the truth…
I wouldn’t mind if no one celebrated me at all…
Why?
Because I’ve already chosen my own birthday gift.
I’m going to give myself the greatest 12 months of my life ever.
A year full of achievements, breakthroughs, impact, and adventure.
For those of you who know about my 3-Word-Map work, this isn’t a whim or a crazy midlife crisis.
I’ve been designing this year in the background for quite some time.
Now I am fully ready to live it.
Here are my 3-Word-Maps for every area of my life in my 50th year.
Map One: Physical: Fittest at 50
I will be the fittest, strongest, and fastest that I’ve ever been in my life at 50. You can follow all my monthly milestones over on my Instagram.
Map Two: Relational: Fully Alive Dad
The greatest gift a parent can give their children is the example they set, through living a life that is fully alive and vibrant.
Map Three: Financial: Hundred K Months
For the longest time, I’ve felt guilty about making money, and this has often held me back and kept me small. Not anymore.
If you feel the same, then I think that you are ready to expand financially also. It’s time that good people with kindness in their hearts achieve real monetary success.
Map Four: Business: Three Hundred Collective
In my 50th year, I am building an online community that has 300 incredible members.
Community is where we find our strength. Our community is called “The Conversation Collective,” and it will be home for brave Solopreneurs and Realtors who want to grow their businesses via social media.

Map 5: Reputation: World Famous Work
I am really determined to redeem the social space and to be an authentic voice that calls people back to authenticity and connection.
As part of this, I will be growing this Substack (subscribe) and launching a podcast in the next few months
Map 6: Lifestyle: Wild & Free
This map digs really deep into my identity, which can sometimes get eroded as a parent.
I’ve always been a traveler and an adventurer. I’ve always been someone who has had minimal needs and wanted to see the world. I am digging back into this, and the first step is building a business that sets me free and doesn’t tie me down to a location.
Map 7: Creative: Deeply Prophetic Voice
Before marriage and kids, I spent time on the fringes of Hollywood as an actor and a screenwriter.
When I create, I feel a deep connection to spirit and to other people. I feel most alive when I am being creative. I’m bringing this side of me back this year.
You Can Design Your Own Life
If you run your own business, there is a good chance that you chose this path because you wanted to be the “Captain of your Own Ship.”
And this is a wonderful and righteous thing.
To be a human being who is in full control of their own life.
