This is Scooter, wind in his hair, standing like Rose on the bow of the titanic as our ship plows through the ocean. 😂 Rough, loving hands around his waist ready to catch him should he fall.
Here’s the truly sad thing though…
Scooter never came onboard our pirate ship, he was too busy trying to make his life work on dry land.
He never gave himself up, he never fully surrendered to the thrill of the adventure.
He never stood on the bow and bounced his way into the sunset…
Scooter is the pirate who never sailed.
I look at the results so many of the pirates in our program are getting. They are taking risks, riding the waves, letting creative winds fill their sails and they are starting to win big…
If you want different results then you have to take a risk.
More of the same = more of the same.
That’s how Rose met Jack on the Titanic, she was honest enough to admit that she did not like the status quo.
She needed more.
