I just snapped this photograph today
It’s important to me for reasons that I will never fully share… with anyone ever.
I will come back to it constantly, though. Perhaps every day for the rest of life.
It captures me at a pivotal moment.
I made a big decision before this photo was taken. A hard choice.
For the longest time, I’ve lived for other people:
Sometimes it was to prove them wrong. In other seasons, it was to win their affection.
I am not going to do that anymore.
That’s the steel I see in my own eyes.
I am going to live for myself. I am going to make the most out of this incredible life that I have been given.
It finally happened.
I chose me.
Every Modern-Day Pirate Must Have These Moments
A solopreneur must decide.
Who am I doing this for?
Am I trying to escape something?
Am I trying to prove myself to another human?
Or am I purely going after the life that I want, building the future that works for me and those I love?
The more pure your mission, the more passion you will have, the faster you will catch fire both online and in person.
As always, your point of difference, the thing that separates you and me from all others, is our own unique mission.
It can be shaped by the past, but it cannot be owned by it.
Do it for a million different reasons, but mostly chase after it because it is 100% yours.
