The secret the coaching industry doesn't want you to know

I am so excited… my growth right now is exponential

Breakthrough moments in life always happen when you dramatically shift the way you interact with other people.

This might sound controversial.

Breakthrough doesn’t happen at the gym. When you are immersed in prayer 🙏🏾 or when you are at a Tony Robbins seminar 😂

These can be powerful precursors to change.

They can also be safety nets that keep you addicted to a kind of self-absorption that does not change anything.

No actual breakthrough, just more focus on me.

This is just my own personal deep core belief and my lived experience.

Tangible breakthrough for me has never actually happened through overt focusing on myself…

It happens when I let go of myself.

When I am brave enough to tear up the script and really give myself to others.

To encounter the world more bravely and give more selflessly.

To talk to a filthy stranger on the street.

To listen to a person on Facebook Messenger who is going through a tough time.

To speak my mind without any need to cajole, manipulate, or get.

To embrace the incredible lightness and joy of connecting to other people without any agenda at all.

When I choose this path...

This is where I find tremendous growth and breakthrough in every area of my life.

When I open up my clenched hands, and dare to reach out and connect differently.

My hands are finally open, and I am ready to receive.

This shall be my way going forward.
