My future calls back to me.
Across wild oceans and stormy seasons of life... It summons me.
I want to remind you today that your present stormy seasons are not your final reality.
You are not the $$$’s in your bank account.
You are not your toxic relationship.
You are not your 9-5 job.
This is not your destination, brave soul. You are the human being who transcends all of these things.
Sometimes, even in low moments, I catch a glimpse of the world that I am building, and it is very exciting.
It frees me from feeling tossed about by the wind and the storms.
I feel like I can plough through the tough stuff. I know where I am heading.
10 years from now, there is a version of you looking back at your present circumstances, exhorting you not to give in to mendacity and to always believe in more.
When you run towards the future you want, it will always race back towards you. I promise
It’s why I set extremely unrealistic 3-word goals.
The kinds of goals that people secretly (and sometimes not so secretly) laugh at when they hear them. Because all they can see is “me right now.”
But my future self, the very best version of me, says... “They might laugh, but I believe in you.”
A hopeful pirate dares to imagine a much better life for themselves and the people they love. Not because they are intrinsically better, but because they can hear the echo across the ocean of the future calling.
If you are determined to build a better life, then comment “future” below. I’ll invite you to our 3-Word goals training in July.
If it’s a good fit, we’ll go on an extraordinary journey across the ocean together.

P.S: Whether you comment “future” below or not, I want you to know that you can still do something incredible with your life that surprises a lot of people.
