Trying to! Lost my journalism job last summer and began writing essays and short stories. Went to a Claire Keegan workshop in Ireland in October/November and have continued to work on stories I started at a workshop in Iceland. Been Substacking essays since March. Also working on songwriting with a musician friend. He’s going to put to music what I write. So, trying a lot!
